Why me?

Legal background

I qualified as a solicitor in October 1986 and in January 1991 I joined the firm now known as Charles Russell Speechlys LLP, to specialise in property litigation. I spent over 30 years with the firm helping to develop the property litigation team so that when I retired in April 2021 the team had grown to a team of 30.

Over my career I acquired extensive experience in all types of property disputes and court and tribunal procedures and I developed a reputation for assisting clients to achieve their objectives in a timely and cost effective manner whether through negotiation, mediation or litigation.

I acted for a range of clients including landed estates, institutional investors, charities and not for profit organisations, property companies and individuals. I also worked closely with real estate colleagues to provide strategic advice and avoid disputes.
